Request a tourMadeira has microclimates: when the north is cloudy, the south is often clear. Being a Sun Chaser means starting before dawn above the clouds and finishing at the island's western tip as the sun drops into the Atlantic.

Every route opens straight in Google Maps. Use them with the camper, with your own car, or ask us to do them by jeep.
WestCabo Girão sea cliffs, the quiet villages of the western plateau and the island's most famous sunset at Ponta do Pargo lighthouse.
MountainClimb into the heart of the island: views of both coasts from Encumeada and the open Paul da Serra plateau, often above the clouds.

NorthThe north coast at its rawest: the Bridal Veil waterfall dropping into the sea and the black-sand beach of Seixal.
WestOne of Europe's steepest cable cars drops to a hidden fajã. Then a swim in the natural lava pools of Porto Moniz.
NorthSantana's traditional houses, then the forest road up to Achada do Teixeira, the gateway to Pico Ruivo.
NorthThe Madeira few people see: cliffside villages, the sea pool at Ponta Delgada and the northern Atlantic always at your side.

The island's microclimates help: if one coast is closed in, we take you to the sunny side. If needed, we reschedule.
