It passes through high heath, with natural viewpoints over the Rabaçal and Ribeira da Janela valleys, and ends at the Lagoa das 25 Fontes after following the Levada Nova do Rabaçal.
The first hundred metres are shared with the PR 13, and only then do you reach the turn-off to the 25 Fontes, on the left.
