It follows the Levada Velha do Rabaçal, also called the Levada do Risco, through Laurisilva clearings to the Casa do Rabaçal. If you turn left on reaching the levada you come to the Estrebarias Tunnel, built in 1855.
On reaching the levada turn right for the Casa do Rabaçal; the tunnel (Furado Velho) lies in the opposite direction.
