An old path linking the south coast to the north coast, climbing steadily from Fajã dos Cardos to Boca das Torrinhas and then descending to Lombo do Urzal, through high heath and Laurisilva forest.
It is one-way and ends on the other side of the island, so plan your transport back; entry is paid on SIMplifica (€4.50).
