A long, demanding trail following the Levada da Serra and the Levada do Norte, with a stone-paved path up to the Pináculo, overlooking the Ribeira Brava valley, and tunnels and waterfalls on the way to Folhadal.
The official site says the route is passable between Encumeada, Folhadal, Caramujo and Bica da Cana, so confirm the stretch before you go.
